Dear All,
Earthquake in Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand.
Very Kind Appeal to Help the local people, Monks and Temple.
We all are shocked and extremely saddened about the situation in Burma (Myanmar) and Thailand.
BBC reports “Myanmar is reeling following the huge earthquake which hit the country on Friday, 28 March. The 7.7 magnitude tremor was felt elsewhere, including in Thailand and south-west China.
More than 2,000 people have died and more than 3,900 have been injured, say the leaders of Myanmar's military government. Those figures are expected to rise. In Thailand, at least 19 people lost their lives.” (BBC Website)
Please Help:
Over few thousands of people including monks were dead and still the authorities are looking for survivors.
We cant do much at the moment but we only can pray and support financially. We are closely working with Burmese Monks, Temples and our Burmese and Thai Devotees to help the local people.
We have opened up a fund raising to help. We request all our friends and community to help as much as you can please.

I was walking in the London city yesterday (30-03-2025). One young man ran to me saying “Bhante, I am from Burma. I am Law Student in London. I am attending Law Conference in London. I lost my sister in Burma due to Earthquake. I cant go there. I came to walk around to ease my pain and pray. Can you please as a Buddhist monk pry my sister and all those who affected.” So I stopped and did a special prayer for him, his family and all those who affected.
